Your voice never leaves your computer.
Flowclone does all of its speech recognition and AI cleanup on your device. Your audio is processed locally and isn’t uploaded anywhere — and it works offline once set up.
- Always backed up to your account: your settings, personal dictionary, and snippets — so they follow you to a new device.
- On your machine by default: your dictation history. Keep it fully private, or choose to sync it across your computers.
- The trade-off: because history is local by default, it’s gone if your machine is lost — but your settings and dictionary are always safe.
Your meetings, in our EU & UK cloud.
Recordings, transcripts, and summaries are stored securely in our EU & UK cloud (GDPR-compliant), tied to your account. They’re processed by AI we manage only when you choose to transcribe or summarise.
- No meeting bot: AudioPad records your computer’s audio directly — nothing joins your calls.
- You own your data: export or delete everything at any time, with retention controls you set.
- Managed AI, no keys: there are no user API keys, and we never sell your data.
What we keep, and why.
To run your account we store the basics: your email and sign-in, your subscription status, and anonymous usage counts (for example, words dictated this week) so plans and limits work. Billing is handled by our payment processor; we don’t store your full card details.
